A Year in Review with Flourishes

Hello everyone,

Today, I am over on the Flourishes blog revisiting one of my favourite cards that I created in the past year with one of my favourite Flourishes stamp sets, Winter Blooms.

Let’s take a look:

I just LOVE the poinsettia image from the Winter Blooms set. It is so beautiful and perfect for a traditional Christmas card. Here, I used it in a less traditional way which is one of the reasons that it is a favourite. I love the graphic pop of the hot pink on the white background. The poinsettias were coloured using Copic markers and the centres of the flowers were embellished using tiny gold beads to add a special touch.

Here is what the stamp set looks like:

Such a beautiful set designed by Beverly Cole – I know I will be using this set for years to come!

Anyway, thank you for visiting – I hope you enjoyed your stay!

Flourishes Release Day 6 – Must Be Santa

Hello and welcome to the sixth and final day of the Flourishes LC Release for October!

If you have arrived from Linda’s blog, you are in the right place. If not, please see the Blog Hop List below to start from the beginning.

Today, we are showcasing Must Be Santa, an adorable set designed by Beverly Cole.

Here is my project:

The image was coloured using Copic markers then cut it out and mounted it over a die-cut frame using foam tape. I then mounted this onto some plaid Christmas paper and embellished with some silver metallic twine. The sentiment is from an older Flourishes stamp set.

Here is a peek of what the stamp set looks like:
