Flourishes LC and Imagine Crafts Joint Blog Hop

Hello and thank you for joining Flourishes LC and Imagine Crafts for our first blog hop together!

I had the pleasure of getting to play with some awesome inks from Imagine Crafts and stamps by Flourishes LC and I have to say, it was a lot of fun!

Without further ado, here is what I came up with…

joy-2-edited joy-3-edited

The main image, from Flourishes LC’s Harp Stamp Set was stamped onto patterned paper using Delicata Metallic Ink in Copper. I just love the effect that this lustrous metallic ink creates! The ‘joy’ sentiment (from an older Flourishes Christmas Stamp Set) was stamped onto the patterned paper using Memento Ink in Rhubarb Stalk. Next, I inked the edges of the patterned paper background using VersaMagic ink in Aegean Blueย to add a little interest and make this layer stand out from the background. This was then layered over a doily and some more patterned papers. To finish it all off, I added some cream and gold bakers twine and a few gold glitter enamel dots.

  1. That stamp is fantastic. Looks very vintage
and the embossing really makes it pop.
    The layering is great.
    thanks for sharing.

  2. Such a pretty card Naomi – I love the palette you have used – so pretty! I love how you have used the Dekicata Ink and Rhubarb Stalk – one of my favourite inks! Thanks for always inspiring! ๐Ÿ™‚
