Working in an office environment, I stare at paperwork and computer screens all day but, when I have a spare moment, I love to play with pretty patterned papers, twine, paints, inks, embellishments, and pretty much anything at hand to see what delights I can create with them. While I started paper crafting in early 2011, I have always had a strong desire to “make” things and often find myself planning to make a great many things whether they involve paper or not. I consider myself very fortunate growing up just outside Vancouver – I was raised growing many of our own foods, eating fresh salmon that we caught ourselves, and making everything from scratch. I think that has contributed to my “I can make that” attitude which is essential to being crafty. I remember begging my mom to take me to the craft store to take classes with me as a little girl and not much has changed. I still love crafting with my mama and am so grateful that we have a hobby that we can share and enjoy together. Thank you for stopping by, I hope you leave feeling inspired!
